Looking for a beautiful venue for your wedding or private party? Cincinnati parks offers several popular parks that have places for weddings. If you don’t find the right spot for you, remember that Cincinnati and Hamilton County has thousands of acres of park land. Here’s a look at four popular Cincinnati wedding venues just right for your special occasion.
Ault Park – Cincinnati Wedding Venue
Ault Park offers picnic facilities, nature trails and play areas. It’s also home to a gracious pavilion with sweeping vistas down a long green space into the hills of Cincinnati. If you love cars, the grounds and pavilion is home to the Concours d’ Elegance Car Show. Ault Park also hosts a July 4th celebration.
French House Reserve – Cincinnati Wedding Venue
French Park is 275 acres of hiking trails through meadows and over hills. You can look out over Cincinnati, roughly ten miles away. The center piece of French Park is French House. This beautiful building offers outdoor wedding site on one of the vast green lawns. You can also use the outdoor terraces, gazebo, and spacious rooms. It’s an elegant place for weddings, parties, and other functions.
Mt Echo – Cincinnati Wedding Venue
Mt Echo is not a particularly large park, but its 84 acres offer hiking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. You can also rent the historic picnic shelter or the 1928 Mt Echo pavilion. The pavilion overlooks the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. It is a magical view. The picnic shelter and pavilion are popular for dances, parties and community events.
Mt Airy Forest – Cincinnati Wedding Venue
This huge, 1,459-acre forest is only seven miles from downtown Cincinnati. There is a lot of do here. Hike, bring your horse, let your dog play in the dog park, and try out disc golf. You can also explore the wheelchair accessible public treehouse! For special events or parties, there are two forest lodges, three picnic areas and two areas for overnight camping for youth organization.
Mt Airy is also home to an Arboretum. You’ll find 30 acres of specialty gardens, trees, shrubs and flowers. With gazebos and a lovely lake, the Arboretum is a popular site for weddings.
