Vandalia, Ohio is conveniently located just north of Dayton. Referred to the Crossroads of America, I-70 and I-75 run through Vandalia. This crossroads offers excellent access to pretty much the rest of the US. If you do a lot of air travel, Vandalia borders the Dayton International Airport. Air travel is literally just minutes away.

If you like parks, Vandalia is a great place for you! There are more than thirty parks in the town. The Great Miami River forms the eastern edge of Vandalia. Much of the river is part of the Taylorsville Metro Park and Riprap Road Park. Enjoy river views, boating, fishing, and wide-open spaces. One of the unique parks is the Vandalia Art Park. This park has an 8-mile trail with permanent and rotating artwork. The park is home to many art related activities during the year.
Like most of Ohio, Vandalia hosts an Oktoberfest. In addition, you’ll find an Airshow and Parade, the Taste of Vandalia, and the Vandalia Fair. The Chamber of Commerce hosts a farmer’s market from June to September. You’ll find a great selection of the amazing produce grown in Ohio.
The Vandalia-Butler City School District has two elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. According to the school district website, the high school’s average ACT scores regularly surpass the national average.
