35th Annual Country Applefest
The 35th Annual Applefest is September 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Warren County Fairgrounds. As you celebrate all things apple you’ll discover the joys of apple fritter, apple pies, caramel apples, fudge covered apples… Learn how many different ways you can prepare apples! Not to worry. You can have a meal of bbq, ham sandwiches, metts (skinless sausages for you non-Cincy folks), and more. Fill in the corners of your stomach with kettle corn and other snacks.
Applefest Crafts
There are over 250 booths with many local or regional vendors. Crafts range from pottery, primitive or traditional toys, handmade sewn items, herbal soaps and similar offerings. You’ll also find quilts and jewelry, and stained-glass items.
Civic Minded Festival
Applefest gives back to the community. Most of their donations support the Lebanon Food Pantry. They are also supporters of the local nursing homes’ Secret Santa program. This gives residents who may not have family to share Christmas will still have presents. They also will support individual causes that represent the community.
